Builders upstand (fixed / unvented)
Glazed frame only is supplied for side fixing directly to builders upstand.
Builders upstand (opening / vented)
Rooflight is supplied complete with uPVC frame that fixes to the top of the builders upstand and houses any opening / ventilation equipment.
150mm uPVC
For mounting at roof surface level, providing 150mm of waterproofing height.
300mm uPVC
For mounting typically below roof surface level, providing 300mm of height for insulation and waterproofing.
Fixed
Non-opening — rooflight side fixed to builders upstand or PVC kerb with security screws.
Manual
Operated by worm gear, using a pole (sold separately).
Mains Powered
Operated by concealed single or tandem chain actuators (depending on size). Rooflight is controlled with a wall switch or optional remote control. A rain sensor can be specified with remote control to automatically close the rooflight in the rain.
Please note that on rectangular opening rooflights the hinges are positioned on the long side and the rooflight should be installed with hinges facing up-slope.
Hit & Miss
2 manually operated hit and miss trickle vents providing a combined 8400mm² equivalent area ventilation.
Auto Hit & Miss
2 automatic hit and miss trickle vents providing a combined 7822mm² equivalent area ventilation. Vents automatically open at high humidity levels. Operation is purely mechanical, with no electrical connection required.

Mardome Flat Glass Rooflights exhibit a sleek and contemporary design with a slimline powder-coated frame and flush-fitting glass panel. All Mardome Flat Glass rooflights have full BBA approval and are certified under 06/4385. All fixed Mardom Flat Glass rooflights achieve Secured by Design accreditation.

- Components of powered opening rooflights (230V) are completely concealed for an unobstructed light well.
- Tested to be non-fragile to CWCT TN-67 (for class 1 roofs)* and Class B non-fragile to ACR[M]001**.
- For ease of installation, the tapered kerb foot does not require timber fillets and an integral clamp holds the roofing membrane in place and provides a clean external finish for all roofing types.
- Fixed rooflights achieve Secured by Design accreditation.
