Horizontal Drain Outlet

1) Install the RubberCover EPDM membrane and cut an opening around the outlet. 

 

2) Apply primer on the back side of the EPDM flange and on the membrane where the flange will be positioned.

3) Insert the horizontal drain outlet. Apply primer on and around the flange for a minimum of 75mm.

4) Prepare a piece of flashing tape with rounded corners. The piece must be at least 50mm larger than the flange in all directions.

5) Remove the protective backing and cover the flange, making sure it overlaps its edges by at least 50mm the whole way round. Make sure to apply the Flashing tape tightly into the angle change. Cut a hole in the Flashing tape that is larger than the penetration.

6) Roll the Flashing Tape using a 50mm wide silicone roller.
