The EPDM Rubber Through Wall Drain Outlet is a synthetic EPDM rubber outlet for use on flat roofs with parapet walls to form a through wall outlet so that water can be dispersed into a drain hopper or a similar soak away.

The EPDM Rubber Through Wall Drain Outlet 100mm x 100mm requires a hole size of 105mm X 105mm.

This can be used with EPDM Rubber roofing membranes and can be fitted above or below the membrane to suit the situation. EPDM Flashing Tapes and Tape Primer should be used to create waterproof finish in areas where water ingress is possible.

How to install:

Installation of the EPDM Parapet Roof Drain as part of your EPDM rubber roofing couldn’t be simpler. Typically, installation should be carried out with a 3° slope. To ensure success, make sure you follow the steps listed below:

  • Once rubber has been laid, Cut hole for drain to go through.

    Apply water cut off mastic to under side of flange, Then fix down using fixing plates.

    Apply Primer to drain unit and surrounding EPDM (Min 2” / 50mm cover) using scrubpad

    Lay appropriate sized flashing tape over complete drainage unit and onto EPDM ( Recommended 0.5m of 18” flashing tape over primed area.)

    Cut hole in flashing tape to allow water to drain off roof.
